While computing veers towards cognitive, cloud, mobile, social, and security, the lab has significantly contributed to not just new products focused in these areas, but has also ushered in new development models such as Agile, Design Thinking and DevOps. <br><br> Your Role and Responsibilities:<br> Work as a As a Firmware Engineering Professional, on design, development and support of the Management Console for IBM Power Servers <br> - Design and develop user centric Graphical User Interface for management solution in Agile environment.<br> - Define and implement high performance software by leveraging a strong understanding of underlying system design.<br> - Be a contributor in developing an environment of continuous improvement across product lines and development groups<br> - Interact with the test team to define test plans and test data; identify reproduce and defects; fix and verify defects<br> <br><br> Required Technical and Professional Expertise:<br> - Experience: 0 to 4 years<br> - Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Preferred- M S, M tech<br> - An understanding of the software development life cycle for the product<br> - Strong Programming skills:<br> Web development skills in Core Java8, JavaScript, HTML, CSS<br> Web UI Frameworks: Vaadin, React JS etc<br> Knowledge of J2EE, JSP<br> Knowledge of RESTful web services and GraphQL API<br> Experience developing rich HTML applications<br> - System Management stack software design & development<br> - Strong debug and problem determination skills<br> - Knowledge in Servers domain<br> - Analytical skills, decision-making ability<br> - Ability to work in a team, under schedule pressure, and maintain deadlines<br> - Candidates should have team-based software development experience, be self-starters, demonstrated communicators, and able to work well with a group of peers. <br><br> Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise: <br> - Experience on IDE like Visual Code, Atom, Eclipse<br> - Experience on tools like Jenkins, Git/Github, Gerrit or other equivalent tools<br> - Atleast 1 year of development based on Java, JavaScript Framework such as Angular.js, React.js etc.<br><br> About IBM:<br> IBM’s greatest invention is the IBMer.
